Our alumni are an active and successful group of people at Mahatma Gandhi International School (MGIS) and are leaving their mark on the world and the community around them. Since 2007 when the first batch of graduates were produced, MGIS alumni have scaled towering heights and are leading successful lives in various fields in all parts of the globe. A number of them came back as MGIS faculty members whereas some still provide advice and mentorship to the current students maintaining the ties of alumni of our school.
Our alumni are accepted by well-known universities all over the world; some of them are even granted with partial or full scholarships because of the high level of their achievements. The specific and dynamic nature of courses available at MGIS has also had an effect that has seen a number of students gain credits internationally in areas where they had already obtained credits at the school, an added advantage to their experiences in the school.

“My connection with MGIS was one of many self-discoveries, believing in myself, and knowing that I could achieve what I aspired to be as long as I was determined. The school has led me to realize that we need to strive to be a better version of ourselves even at the expense of being better at whatever we are doing. By the way, there is a need to take time and know why we are doing what we are doing.”Zuheir Desai - Batch of 2007

“Having been an MGIS graduate has been a blessing since I possess all the critical thinking and analytical skills that one is supposed to embrace during university life. This is the reason why it has assisted me to be an MGIS graduate.”Shweta Patel (Batch of 2011)

“MGIS has contributed to transforming us so much. It has provided us with the real amalgamation of value education. It made me free of fear and allowed me to be a good person.”Apurva Warkhade ( Class 2010)

“The study at MGIS was not just a learning process to succeed at academics; it is actually a process that allowed me to thrive as a human being. Thank God I felt comfortable in the caring environment. I would not like to ever change it.”Nikita Bhatia (Batch of 2009)

Zara Desai (Batch 2010) “Had someone predicted that my life was going in this direction when I was in 5th grade I would not have believed his words. My life evolved on the 1 st day of joining MGIS. It would be impossible to describe, in words, the role that MGIS has played in my life and the fact that it has been able to increase my life ten-folds. I was not just taught subjects such as history or divisive tables in MGIS. At MGIS, I acquired skills: how to study, how to read, how to research, how to find an appropriate book, how to learn on one's own... And these are the skills we would actually have to use and develop-not what you know about something, but how well you are able to do it in university as I would come to discover afterwards. I value the way of reading, how to learn where to find information, how to process it, how to convey it and how to care about information. This is what I learned from MGIS.”Zara Desai - Batch of 2010

“The culture was the best thing in school that I liked. It was a school being a family. We had an opportunity to make choices of our own."Sakhi Ganeriwala - Batch of 2011

“Top college to investigate your vocation.”Nivedita Chanwala (Batch of 2010)

“The greatest thing with the MGIS Philosophy is that they make you understand that it is not all about pens and books in education, something which eventually makes you ready in life after school.”Sudev Shah - Batch of 2016

“Among the outstanding things to MGIS is the capacity of the students to achieve quality teaching in an enjoyable and participatory mode of teaching. I was able to do the best I could due to skills, knowledge, and support that I had received regarding the teaching staff and my peers which is what makes the school different and special compared to the other.”Tiash Vaidya (Batch of 2015)
