Here, at MGIS we blend the internationally-recognized Cambridge curriculum and our own method of teaching with the teaching approach to provide our students with Grades 1 to 8 a vibrant education. We organize our classrooms to be based on interdisciplinary projects, which are hands-on, and not just on academic skill building, but also in important life skills. Growing reading and writing is backed by the Global Reading methodology that secures the solid literacy base.
Assessment Approach:
MGIS has an integrated assessment model used to monitor properly the learning progress of every student. The kind of assessments are both formative and summative and it occurs on a diverse range, on a continuous basis during the academic year- in conjunction with classroom projects and learning modules. The school practices two semesters, and parents are issued with elaborate report cards after every half a year or at the end of every semester to give some insight on the child's progress and his or her advancement.
