Our Pedagogy

Our Story

In continuing its tradition of excellence, Mahatma Gandhi International School, in association with a franchise of its immensely successful and award winning model, is now coming to Jaipur, Rajasthan. Having been initially established as a Public-Private Partnership between four great Educationists Dr. Pascal Chazot, Dr. Anju Kauwr Chazot, and the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, MGIS (Ashta) has grown to become a mark of quality and a mark of inclusive education in Gujarat.

A dream to create cross-sectional difference and bring a learning environment where children learn joyfully and freely, has given shape to one of the most reputed schools in India. Majorly ranked high in the state of Gujarat and in the top 20 schools nationally, MGIS (Ashta) continues to attract some of the most talented students. It creates active and respectful educational conditions because it focuses on diversity and inclusion.

Rooted on the principles of Generated Resource Pedagogy, democratic learning, heuristic education, and project-based teaching, MGIS (Ashta) is a prospective educational project. And with the Jaipur campus, this tested philosophy arrives in Rajasthan, with the mission of rethinking schooling anew to the world we live in today, to situations where every child has a chance to be heard, to be creative and capable.

Join us in shaping Jaipur’s future leaders, curious, compassionate, and capable of changing the world.
